Is yoga beneficial to golfers? Simply put, YES! Yoga helps with mobility, strength and balance; the foundations for a seamless golf swing. Yoga also helps to quiet the mind and keep you in the present moment. Leave that last shot behind and focus on what is right in front of you!
In this beginner friendly class we will focus on mobility of the hips, shoulders, spine and wrists. As well as building strength in the core, legs and upper body. We’ll also spend time quieting the mind and practicing present moment mindfulness with some restorative poses. Staying in the present moment on the golf course lets you focus on your current shot; leaving the not so great shots in the past where they belong!
Everyone is welcome! You don’t have to be a golfer to enjoy and benefit from this class. The work we will be doing can apply to anyone looking to build strength and increase mobility.
